Version 2.07

December 22, 2007 - The crew of FSEARA and Izzy would like to wish our racers and thier families a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a safe holiday season. We look forward to seeing everyone at the first race of the year.

December 20, 2007 - Most of the website is complete now, still working on our sponsor page. I have added a race calendar for all forms of racing, check it out. We should be finalizing the brushless motor options for 2008 very shortly. Keep checking here and the forums for the latest info.

December 7, 2007 - Some refinements were made to the website to make browsing easier. Hope that you enjoy the changes. I hope to have the results, points, and videos pages completed by the end of the weekend.

November 2, 2007 - For the 2008 Season, FSEARA will be offering yearly memberships to its racers. Membership is $20 per year which includes a free T-Shirt, and discounts at our 4 sponsoring Hobby Shops. Please see Izzy for your payment and membership details. You can access the application here. Or download the excel file here.

October 28, 2007 - The Ballots (32) have been counted and the following rule chages will be implemented for the 2008 Season.

  1. Brushless will be run together with brushed in 27T stock.
  2. 10.5 Brushless will be run with brushed in the 19t Touring class.
  3. 10.5 Brushless will be run with brushed in the 19t 12th class.
  4. Hard encased 7.4v Lipos to run in all touring car classes.
  5. Classes will be renamed Sportsman, Expert, and Pro, formally stock, 19t, and open mod respectively.
  6. Beginning September 2008, the season will run from September to May. For the 2008 season, there will be a 6 race mini season from January to June. There will be 2 throw outs. The 2009 season will then begin in September using the new format.

*The series leadership will determine if a spec B/L motor will be enforced. The series leadership will work with ROAR and manufacturers to determine the most cost effective and fair ruleset. If a spec motor is determined, the Series leadership will attempt to secure a discounted rate for the racers.
